architect

Luca Lana I am a first-generation settler of Sicilian and Venetian origins  and was raised in the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples in Melbourne’s west. I am a registered Architect with a Masters in Architecture and an Advanced Diploma of Design (Furn.)  from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (R.M.I.T.) Currently, My practice works across scales of domestic architecture art and exhibition design.  I have Instructed Design Studios across Melbourne schools where my P.h.D research is driven by social theory and its intersection with art, urban and architectural practice. More recently this has narrowed focusing on the non-modern and queer spaces as generators of architectural futures

“We had no explanation for this at the time, it was just suggesting that when you cut into the Present the Future leaks out."
